Imagine being able to challenge runners from every corner of the globe without leaving your facility. Imagine your treadmill performance being certified in real-time and entered into a global leaderboard, allowing you to compete against professional athletes and enthusiasts just like you.

This is RUN X™, the first World Treadmill Championship in partnership with World Athletics, and this is just the beginning.

Please note: Run X is available at the Centre AT7 ONLY! Sign up today via the Technogym app or on machine screens.

What is RUN X™?

RUN X™ unites the technology of compatible treadmills and the Technogym Digital Ecosystem into a single experience, transforming indoor running into a global competition.

  • A global and accessible challenge: the competition covers a 5km distance on connected treadmills. This eliminates geographical barriers and external variables like weather, offering everyone the same race conditions.
  • From the facility to the world leaderboard: thanks to the Technogym Digital Ecosystem, every performance is certified and placed on a real-time online leaderboard. Anyone, from amateur age groups to elite athletes, can participate and track their progress.
  • A partnership of Excellence: the collaboration between Technogym, a leader in fitness, sport, health, and wellness solutions and the official supplier for the last 10 Olympic Games, and World Athletics, the guarantor of international sporting standards, ensures quality, prestige, and a unique competitive format.

A world title is at stake: the best athletes from each territory will have the chance to advance to the Regionals phase. The competition will culminate in the World Finals at the end of 2026, where the top 10 runners in the world (male and female categories) will compete for the title and a prize pool of $100.000.
